Again, since it was port installed, I suspect BMW installs them for liability issues, or maybe DOT regulations. As I stated I have not seen them mentioned anywhere or pictured in any literature, but the fact is they were there. Maybe someone with a PE M2, or someone with a port installed M Performance suspension can take a peak and confirm.
