I've been trawling through the comparison threads and am not looking to start another one here as both are clearly great cars (especially need to ignore the videos that keep romanticizing how much better the M2C feels - I've heard enough from all of you to know the difference isn't that great especially the handling). I'm just torn as the price jump to an M2C is getting smaller... is anyone else seeing the same?

OP - I just picked up a new M2C for 59k (MSRP (65.5), so yes prices are coming down and a year from now you most likely will find 19/20 M2Cs for less than 50k. All depends on how much time you have.
