I've always hated the narrow FOV produced by the OEM mirror in comparison to other BMW's I've owned previously but never thought there was an easy direct swap until I stumbled upon this post. Going to give this a shot here soon once I find a reasonably priced X3 mirror on eBay. Thanks for the write up man, much appreciated!
