I have the Ohlins DFV and I love them. I switched my stock suspenion out at about 5000miles and the ohlins are a bit tamer on the rough roads here in San Francisco but the really bad roads it can be jarring. The jarring ride may be contributed to my chosen ride height and rebound settings.
I am glad I swapped out my stock suspension the car drives a lot tighter in curves with a lot less body roll. I noticed the reduced body roll driving up to mount tam if that helps.
