I took re-delivery of my M2 on Monday and had the 1200 mile service done yesterday. I asked my SA if I needed to come back after the new diff has 1200 miles on it (it had less than 200 miles on it at the 1200 mile service) and he was told no by the shop manager.
I'm concerned that the new diff is still going to be breaking in and shedding metal for the next 1000 miles and should have it's fluid changed again, but BMW dealer is saying no.
Does anyone have a copy of the technical bulletin they can check to see what BMW recommends?

If your diff was replaced, it does need to go in for a fluid change @ 1,200 miles. Make sure your dealer checks his facts.
