Altra: tried both in AC mode and running. No difference. Will try the closer-is-better version.
F87source: yes, I'm sure it's matching the connector setting to the connector actual.
A Support Request concluded that the firmware in the connector is out of date and missing some code, so I'm trying to return it. Came via Amazon so shouldn't be an issue.
