In the version I have, "Pro Mode" is simply a more detailed and thorough way to code the car. It's not a separate app, nor is it unlocked via an in-app purchase. If you own BimmerCode, you can continue using the simple user interface or you can switch to the new, more detailed "Pro Mode" for power users.
Basically, if you're a novice (like me) you can use the original, simple view. If you're comfortable writing custom values to the numbered coding options, switching to "Pro Mode" will enable that as well.
