Yeh it doesn't work with android, sorry.
I used to be on android and back in 2012 when I ordered my F30 335i I realized everything works better on iPhone and since I pay a lot more for my car I would like to get the experience from my car and made the switch.

Made the same switch from android as well had a note 5. Everything seems to come out first on iOS or exclusive to iOS or its only compatible with iPhone etc. I don't regret it I've had less issues with my phone since I made the switch.
