I do it on all of my motorcycles and did it on the M2 before first track day. I think it's a must, as it helps to keep consistent braking with less fade. They work.
Brand probably doesn't matter. I have ECS lines though they may be rebrands, not sure tbh.
Also while you're at it, put in Castrol SRF DOT 5 fluid.
