Not really true, these are a different platform. Although I had no issue with the VF platform. Owned both an automatic and stickshift Chevy SS. Great car outside of the fact that the rear seats didn't fold down so the trunk room was small.

A mint stickshift Chevy SS commands decent value, although i'd rather have the stickshift CT5V Blackwing. Although if choosing between the ATS-V/CT4-V Blacking and Chevy SS i'd take the commodore. I'd rather have the LS3 compared to the turbo V6 they're using.
