I wonder if this design was corporate-ified.
There are similar designs on his instagram page as early as Feb 2019 to March. And the first instance I've seen of him mentioning BMW is September.
Makes me wonder if BMW looked through his previous work and picked and choosed what elements they wanted on the car.
The existing images on his instagram with saw blades don't really look like what's on this car. Lots of color, paint runs, splotches, texture, etc. Until 6 days ago, when he posted a saw blade image in monotone color scheme. Though the design on this car seems bland in comparison.
