Europeans and many other places in the world get a minimum of 4 weeks vacation. Some even get 6 weeks of vacation. Much of that holiday time is taken in summer. The Italians practically shut down the country during August...no AC over there. In the US people are often guilt tripped out if they take their full 2 weeks. It's a cultural thing. |
I know, at this moment was no holiday.
I moved from Germany to US.
6 weeks are so nice, took me a while to get used to it here. After working in one place for a while, I have now 4 weeks.
