With good forged wheels and CCB you can save about 70lbs total

Exactly and that's why I went with AP Racing BBK which saved 50+ lbs over my stock M2C brakes. I also sold my heavy ass 788M stock wheels. I have lightweight 763M wheels (same ones on the M2CS) for the street and 18" APEX wheels for track. In other words, you don't necessarily have to follow the CCB route to save significant amount of weight. The replacement cost of CCBs and the fact that you cannot fit 18" wheels on them are total deal breakers for me.
