Did you end up priming the oil system? Because bmw has issued an SIB where any work on the oil system must have a priming step at the end. They issued this SIB because rod bearings kept getting seized resulting in rod bearing failure when oil system priming was not done after work on the oiling system. |
Fantastic info and in this case I didn't, knowing all fluids were coming out shortly for the crank hub replacement.
