ProPaint Auto guy did a decent job on spot (he's got 18+ years car painting experience, - wow), overall I am happy with the result.
NOTE: 1 minor flaw though, the front bumper has Paint Protection Films on, a tiny bit of the LBB paint went under the triangle tip of that piece of film (see it in 2nd photo of the original post) at its end, only noticeable at very close distance with attention. The guy mentioned that this is the first time he repair/paint a car with PPF on, the front bumper is in an excellent condition considering it's a MY2016 model with 12000kms.
It cost A$330, plus a bottle of mixed BMW Long Beach Blue C16 metallic paint.
I am going to put PPF on the 2 trapezoid blades above/below the outer inlets (removed 4 black carbon fibre stickers fitted by previous owner, found a couple of stone chips on each side), doors and panels around the rear wheel arches, probably roof as well depending on price, just for peace of mind taking it out for a spin or on track.
