Would I buy another Vette? Possibly. A manual for sure, given the A8 issues. I'm not at all interested in the midengine V8 though. I am excited to see what it's going to look like when it's revealed in July.

I drove as a passenger with a friend who also has an M2 his is manual and said it had turbo lag. When I watched his tach he was chronically in a higher gear than he should have been in, when he drove in the proper gear suddenly the turbo lag all but disappeared. I suspect if you adjust your shifting a bit you'll be pretty happy.
