I think it depends on where they want the price point to end up - based on the M3/4 CS, we can reasonably expect a significant premium over the M2C.

The question becomes, how much of a premium? The more M performance CF they add from the get-go, the higher the price of admission is going to be.

These vents, for example, look great and it's awesome that they're functional, but how much weight do they save? What is my measurable performance benefit for their respective inclusion?

It will be interesting to see how "far" they go with the existing M performance CF parts on the CS, because each additional CF part that's included from the start will drive the price up.
