It is a little faster in the M2C but they have removed the "slam" in each gear so it does feel less aggressive.
I didn't mind the old slam at all, but I prefer the shift in the M2C.
I did read on another post that you can greatly improve the steering feel in the OG M2 by updating the software. Not sure if this also applies to the transmission as well.
