But Pennzoil lists their Euro 5w40 as premium oil for our engines. Redline lists 5w30.

If you look up 0W30 on the Redline website, it lists the mfr requirements. Where are you looking?

0w30 is listed as to be used instead of 5w30 when in colder climates. Plus the 0w30 has NOACK OF 9% while 5w30 is 6%:
