It's possible those people, back out after seeing the lease numbers.
Or maybe buyer remorse, after agreeing on $X over MSRP and cancel.
Last summer my CA at Bellevue told me, there are 20 people on waiting list but he also says that's like 10 at best cause half will drop out after the car comes in due to the above reasonings.
Got to love BMW dealers, never sweat at cancellation, my CA had some one cancelled on M6 GC, $150K with ceramic brake and all, he said he could give me a good deal on it
