Pads and discs.

M cars have more aggressive M pads and the M cars have "M compound discs" (as in in two part discs).

Basically the discs are a bit bigger than the non - M car's discs and have an aluminium center hat like racing brake discs. This hat is pinned to the cast iron rotor to allow for differential heat expansion of the 2 materials. If you track the car you will hear tinging when you park the car and let it cool down.

As far as I know the calipers are the same, a common upgrade it to get the M pads. Discs probably cant be swapped unless you do the M knuckles too.
