I bought my car used with 9400 miles on it, but the dealer had replaced the tires (stock Conti's) and had the alignment checked before I picked it up, so all that was good. At first the car would hop real bad on uneven surfaces, or if the ground was wet, or just pulling out of the car wash. Now, about 1500 miles later (almost all highway), it breaks away very smoothly. I think it's a bit of tire wear, and the colder temps, but others report it's worse when cold.
All I know is that I'm glad mine *seems* to be gone.
