Musk is a coding nerd that is a great salesman and cult orchestrator, obtaining tons of other people's money to develop Tesla. He is certainly not a driving enthusiast as his goal seems to be to commoditize driving.

Having said that, wonder what Tesla could have done with the resources and technology they do have, if they didn't focus on gadgets like pop-out door handles, in-car games, auto-pilot, gull-wing doors, etc.
I'll let nicknaz chime in on the trackability of the Tesla M3P.
