Fwiw, not sure if this will help anyone -
I have the Ohlins R&T and never had any knocking noises.
Got new tires the other day, which being slightly taller than used ones will have affected alignment, and noticed creaking when turning the wheel coming out of a parking lot, slow.
Yesterday, did my annual alignment and the alignment was just slightly off to what we set it to 1 year and roughly 16k miles ago.
After the alignment, the creaking when turning wheel was gone.
So, I'm wondering if the knocking and creaking can be solved with an alignment.
My alignment is for spirited driving, not factory spec, but also not particularly aggressive.
Basically -2.2 degrees camber on front, -2 degrees camber on rear, 0 toe front, and 1/32 toe rear.
