I prefer the two-tone approach. See and feel it IRL and you'll notice that it's better than you'd expect. It's not literally 'half-baked', but a 2 in 1, also making maintenance easier.
So if I got the chance between full leather, full alcantara or two-tone (leather/Alcantara), I'd take the latter. And that's also what I did.
