Here are some pictures showing the locking ring, that the above picture does not show , nor so with the BMW supplied ad photos of the suspension.
The front locking ring I can loosen and spin it down, but the rears have a spacer that precludes it from being lowered further. I guess I will pull the rear springs and remove the spacers.
