My steel braces are now out and to be honest the car feels better without them. I think with them the front end is too rigid.
The car seems really fluid now and is a joy to drive just around town. I can see why BMW didn't kill themselves to get the braces altered to fit on the M2C, it doesn't need it/is better without.
For the time being mine are staying out.

Looks like it, and I think I see the problem. Realoem.com incorrectly lists the same part numbers for the M2 and M2C of those parts.
