Could you clarify your statement below? Are you asking me to cut off my lovely M2 bumper fangs, or remove some ducting behind the bumper? I did leave the two duct/scoops on the aux radiator and oil cooler bc I figured it helped channel/speed air across them.

“I too agree the m2c bumper will help with aux rad cooling, but you can just remove the lower side fender ducts on the og m2 and then you get gigantic openings directly to the radiator, so you can do that if you don't want to buy a new bumper.”
Yeah sorry op for thread jacking my bad. The pure 800 is pretty dope though and is an alternative to the VTT stock location and stock part style turbos.

Yes of course, let me clarify. So if you look here:
1) Bmw front bumper: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_9906
2) image of the bumper: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/51118068533/

Look how large those aux radiator holes are, they are absolutely massive.

Now bmw in their infinte wisdom decided that ///M cars for whatever reason didn't need all of this air flow and put in these ducts that clip into the bumper and as a result narrow down the inlet size down to this tiny little hole.

So what I suggest is to remove these clip on "ducts" which will give you a massive inlet area. Then make custom ducts that go to the radiator, you can use kydex (this was super popular for air box diy's in the subaru world) or if a mechanical engineer here could make us a 3D printable model do that. Then cover the inlet with mesh to protect it from rocks. Boom you have a super high air flow front bumper without having to buy the m2C bumper and repaint it, you also keep your OG m2 aesthetics. Leave the smaller ducts on the radiator in tact.

These are the aux rad air ducts you should leave alone:

2) https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_8574
(item 4 on real oem).

Hope this helped, I thought I mentioned this to you earlier lol guess I forgot - sometimes I forget because I have a huge spread sheet with ideas and theorys for my m2 planned out (the scientist side of me lol) before I do anything (minimises mistakes and ensures I only have to do things once) so sometimes I forget if I shared ideas or not.
