Actually, this is incredibly dangerous, running at speed on track in a car with a roll cage, and no helmets. On the nurburgring it’s almost insane, in traffic, no matter how much experience you have. Don’t ever do that, to yourself or a passenger.
As for the lap times, Touristenfahrten is not the time to set lap time records. You need to be safe around slower traffic (and faster traffic) so whatever happens is not a representation of a car or a driver’s full potential.
The M2C had better lines in some corners, he was using the whole track. The RS, not so much, meaning he had reserves of grip he wasn’t tapping into whether he knew it or not. There, I’m an armchair expert too now.
