Euro MDM is the same as traction mode, just with a little bit more wheel play. Turning on Sport or Sport+ makes no difference in driving compared to old MDM, which defeats the purpose.
I programmed it to my car to use during the winter, works great for letting enough wheelspin happen if you're stuck or drifting.
