Shell helix ultra ect c3 5w30 European version is the exact same as the new 5w30 from bmw (twin power turbo) and the oil is fantastic, has a NOAK if less than 7, (6.2 in independent testing) has a high viscosity of a comparable oil in the 5w40 region, has superb results on engine wear (check piotr tester videos on YouTube @100 degrees Celsius which for me is a great example of the normal temperatures this car produces on the road) I believe shell helix is Pennzoil platinum across the border (US) but for UK the best oil for your car all year round for me would be bmw tpt 5w30
