It took me few weeks to train my fingers to slow double click the button, fast clicking doesn't work very well. But I never had the valves closing by themselves.
Currently thinking about taking the remote apart and installing it in the steering wheel controlled by the M2 button.
I also thought about some reverse engineering the controller box to see if shorting couple of pins would move the flaps. In that case it could be hardwired somewhere, maybe center console.
