It appears to be some sort of marketing game plan some "wizard" dreamed up at BMW whereby they think the market as a whole will be "impressed" that the car doesn't have CA and therefore it is more "special".
IMHO the BMW decision to drop 'Comfort Access' on the M2 CS (as well as on the M3 CS and M4 CS) for (supposedly) 'weight saving' reasons is indeed kinda pointless.

Same goes for the BMW decision to drop the (practical) USB 2.1 Ampère port inside the cupholders on the M2 CS.

Another example: passengers in the back lost their airco ventilation.

All for the sake of 'weight saving' or supposed track-tool bragging rights ?
