Who are you traveling with? If by yourself, go for it.
If you're with your spouse, significant other or just a friend, you may consider driving a little less. That's a lot of road time, just being a passenger.
Coincidentally, my ED was 9 days of driving, just like yours. I put on 1,100 miles with my wife along side and that was perfect. It gave me enough road time, plus time to enjoy the sites, food & drink of the cities we visited.
