Yeah, I agree 100%. My wife and I did 1,474 miles over about 12 days and even that was a lot. Your itinerary looks great, though if I was you, I would cut out the Genoa/Monaco/Modena portions and spend more time in the other areas.
But, to each their own. That's a hell of a trip if you don't mind the driving!
