that is kind of what I did, I went with stock sizes 245 / 265 and yokohama ad08rs
I also went from 19 to 18 inch wheels and went up with sidewall size from 35 to 40 just to get that little bit more movement in the tire, racecars also don't have sidewall ratios of 30, small sidewalls limit the movement of the tire and therefore lose grip more early at least thats my understanding..
although I couldn't track the setup yet on the street it feels promising and in my opinion it looks amazing
another point is that smaller tires are less expensive

I really like your setup ! Almost went that way also but deals on 513m are rare and I didn't like to be limited in going larger than OEM sizes tires.

The ride is probably even better than and looks even better on the M2 !
