ECS and ShopBMWUSA show limited model fitment, so I contacted a dealer and they were confident that it would work and offered to take it back if it didn't.

It will not fit. There is a fixed headrest on the M2c unlike the OG M2 so no rails to attach it to. Same deal with M3/4
