Update - think I'm ok, looking the the photos again on page 2, looks like the retaining clips are top and bottom of the unit.
Ok, so I can get the gear shift surround off relatively easily but still struggling with the removal of the control unit?
Is it held in by clips down one side like the gearshift surround or is it something different? I've used a fair bit or force and wiggle but it's stubborn and I don't want to break anything.
Please help
