I find myself doing the same, soon as I'm a few metres away from my street. I'd like to keep my neighbours happy for as long as I can.
I can't see any downside to driving in this mode, other than the bluetooth module battery dying sooner as it's flashing regularly.
Enjoy the sound, but keep in mind it's a lot louder from the outside.
