Plugs will last a lot longer than you think if you clean them. I pull and check them every 5000 miles or so and simply get the electrode end red hot with a torch and they then work like new again.
At 47K miles, I started getting a lot of break up and an injector code so I pulled all 6 injectors (extremely easy) and soaked the tips (end with microscopic holes for fuel spray) in CRC carbon remover for 30 minutes or so, reinstalled and filled each injector with CRC carbon remover before reattaching fuel lines to clean out any crud internally above tips and she runs better than ever.
Injectors and Spark Plugs can be cleaned, no need to buy new ones whenever you think they need changing
