Tyres!
Supra is on F: 255/35 19, R: 275/35 19
M2C is on F:245/35 19, R: 265/35 19
The M2C is under tyred and towards the end the 245/265 gave up more speed than the 255/275
BMW should have shoved F: 255/35 19, R 285/30 19 as standard or even optional on the M2C as per the E92 M3GTS
That 245/265 staggered set up is now 10 years behind time
