And this is a perfect example of why we don't listen to just anyone about tires.
No disrespect intended dude, but I'm going to use you as an example.
1. The 265/30 PS4S will almost assuredly rub in the front on 9.5 +27.
2. The 285/30 PS4S runs particularly skinny, and as such is as near as makes no difference in width to the stock 265, and has a SHORTER sidewall, which will grip less.
3. At his height the 265/285 combo will make his gap look like a monster truck.
