Benefits with MHD only appear when you step into custom tuning. plus manual cars would gain more benefits from it than DCT would.
If your plan is just to run OTS maps, BM3 ftw. Its log viewing system is the best IMO. Also, its license is transferable. Minimize the cost of switching.
