I remember when I used to have an E46 M3. Everyone told me how heavy this car was and how it's so far off from what the E30 M3. I simply loved the E46! Then came the E9x Ms and I was on the other side of the fence. I was the one saying how horrible the E9x design was and joining all the online Chris Bangle protests and so forth. haha. But yet, the E9x chassis sold way more bimmers than the E46 ever did and is now somewhat of a classic collector car (even though I still hate the E9x). BMW's definitely not gonna cancel what they've already put out in production because the "enthusiasts" are mocking/hating their new design. They'll make their decisions looking at their bottom line. One day, the G8x might become a "classic" too. How/why anyone can look at a G8x car and like it will always be a mystery to me, but eye of the beholder and all that yada yada yada, right? No skin off my back though. I'll just buy a different car.
