I know it's doable but that puts a lot of strain on the plug itself and I've seen 2 things occur:

1) the plug body breaks.

2) the extension is touching the spark plug well and it cracks the metal spark plug well and that need to be replaced.


Bmw does state in ISTA that a wobble is required because of the risk it poses to the plug and the spark plug well.
