Thanks for sharing your motivation for going this route. Mine is also my daily. While it only takes an hour to swap pads and wheels/tires the night before an event I don’t have two kids Lol.

Sounds like you’ve done a few events in your days so you’re not a total novice but running 300tw tires with less grip was a huge benefit for me starting out. I imagine staying on them even as you’ve progressed continues to force you to improve your driving until you’re squeezing every last tenth out.

Optimism aside, proper pads and tires transform the car as you’d expect. Swapping them before and after an event quickly and easily is one of my favorite parts of the OG M2 so don’t feel like you need a dedicated daily to pull it off. Pads, wheels, and Schroth QFP can be done in an hour and a half or less if you hussle.
