I gave up on on trying to wear a single shoe in the winter. I change into my dress shoes once I get to the office.
Ecco boots have got me through countless Chicago winters. I'd recommend still wearing warm socks so make sure you have these when you try them on or maybe go up one size to accommodate. I normally wear a 45 Ecco but for boots with thick socks, I'm better off in a 46.
