having said that.. the OEM battery is 26kg .. so it is. massive saving..

ALSO a massive saving can be had switching out the rotors and calipers for AP Racing Pro 5000R ... i saved 10kg per corner and also went to 18 inch rims.. which were 3.2kg lighter PER corner... so rotational mass i was able to take off

20kg for brakes
12.8kg for wheels total of 32kg rotational mass.. that type of weight saving is massive for track purposes

How’s the balance of the car?
If you shave 20 kilograms off the battery, which is in the rear part then the front engine car, which originally tends to be tail-happy, becomes even more tail-happy.


I took off the rear seats but at the same time I installed the bucket seats. So the balance is the same.


Reducing weight on rims and brakes is excellent idea!
