No matter what brand you choose, be confident about what they recommend you since they usually make some test and know what's better for their setup depending of your goals

I'm pretty sure that Around 400/750 as you stated, the ride will be very nice.

500-900 is more track oriented but would be ok in the street.

The good thing is you can always change the spring but i know by experience that it's a tough decision,

Focus on street performance that can go on track.... you'll be more happy than a track setup that you can use in the street
I have TC's 400/700 setup. Its a very good balance between street settings and track settings. If your local roads are crap I would go with his 350/600 pkg. I have had 3 M cars with TC's D/A Konis. He does put time into tuning the right rig for us...

The other important point is how long before rebuilds when comparing brands.

Many of the high quality Single tube kits such as JRZ, AST. etc. will need to be rebuilt muct sooner than the Koni's.

I've run AST's, JRZ's, Ohlin's and TC's.

The Ohlin's and the Koni's in my experience lasted 2-3x's longer between rebuilds. Yanking shocks and shipping them out to be revalved/rebuilt is a PITA.
