I have only test driven both (not owned them) so I can't say too much. My feeling was that the X3M is more powerful. But it's also way bigger and heavier obviously. I liked it a lot and to be honest it would be a smarter choice for me given the practicality for the family and dog.
The M2C on the other hand is so nimble and fun. The only reason I have it on order is that I feel it may be the last of a real old school M.
